Alex Joyner

Alex Joyner is a graduate of Washington State University with a degree in Kinesiology (Movement Studies).  Originally from Florida, Alex graduated from Marysville high school in Washington but has lived in Oregon and Nevada.  Mr. Alex serves in a wide variety of roles at Rise Up Academy.  He is an Assistant Teacher in the Pre-K classroom, leading groups in both Reading and Math.  He also works with the School-Age students and leads the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) and Chess lessons each week.  He enjoys spending time with both of his nieces and loving every minute of it!  He has two younger brothers, and one of his brothers plays in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the BC Lions.  His favorite vacation was when he traveled by himself to Western Europe.  Alex loves the opportunity to work at Rise Up Academy and work with each student by shaping and motivating them to do their best.
