Program Supervisor & Assistant Teacher
Delvonne Sims also known as Ms. Dee, is originally from Philadelphia, PA, but moved to Everett in 2019. She currently is an Early Childhood Education student at Everett Community College pursing her certificate in Early Childhood Education. Her experience began in 2019 when she became a Preschool Teacher. Not long after, she was promoted to Assistant Director at Everett Childcare Center, and now she continues her journey at the Rise Up Academy as an Assistant Teacher and Program Supervisor. She is so excited to be a part of the future of Rise Up Academy to create lifelong bonds with the students, parents, and staff. Teaching is Delvonnne’s passion, and she will continue her education to maximize the impact that she will make as an educator. Her fiancé is Royal Porter, and she is a mother of four children (2 biological and 2 bonus!)
