Jenny Apostol

Jenny Apostol is a native of the Philippines.  She worked for two years as a Special Education Aide in Alaska before moving to Washington in 2020.  In 2021 she joined the Rise Up Academy staff as a Pre-K lead teacher, where she brings strong behavior management skills to the classroom.   She believes that ‘Everyone is put on earth with a purpose and the footprints you leave behind are what define the person you were when you were alive.’  She was mentored by the amazing educators in Alaska who have expertise in Special Education.  As an educator, Jenny believes that you must be ready to embrace diversity and to be intellectually and ethically strong, resilient, and passionate.  Jenny brings structure and strong communication skills by building a teacher-student rapport to create a trusting environment.   Arts and crafts are one of her strengths that she shares with her students. Jenny is married to Zack Turowski and has 1 child.
