Maddie Balyeat

Maddie Balyeat loves working with kids and watching their willingness to learn.  She graduated from Woodinville High School and plans to pursue her degree in education.  Her mother is an educator and teaching has always been a part of her DNA.  For Maddie, teaching is rewarding and working with children has taught her valued lessons about emotional resilience and the importance of overcoming obstacles.  When she is not at school, she is at home working on her family farm, that includes pigs, chickens, and goats.   She also enjoys coaching girls 12 and under softball, and she enjoys teaching math, because numbers have always made sense in her head.  She enjoys working alongside students and being a part of their educational journey at Rise Up Academy.
